It took a layoff after 9/11 and a great deal of introspection and reading motivational books before I discovered what I really wanted to do in life - which was to be an artist and a writer. I had done quite a bit of research on internet marketing while I was still working full time. I began to implement all the things I learned about marketing to get the word out about my art. Next thing I knew I had turned it into a full-time gig.
None of this happened overnight, of course. I took little steps every day towards my goals, but most of all, I had fun in the process - and that's what matters the most.
