Of course all of us want to be successful in life, but what is it that separates people who achieve success from the ones who don't?
They have a vision.
I just started reading the book, Do You! by Russell Simmons (with Chris Morrow) and so far it is a very inspiring book. He talks about the beginning of his brand, Phat Farm, and how he had this vision of where he wanted to take the company. There were all these naysayers who didn't believe in his vision, but he stuck with it and ended up selling Phat Farm at the tune of $115 million.
Here's what Simmons says about vision:
"When you do have a clear, strong vision, you will see results. People love to be around someone who is crystal clear on their future. Your confidence is going to give them direction. People will follow someone who's clear with his vision, probably because they're not clear on their own..."My best friend just recently confessed to me that she thought I was "crazy" to leave the corporate world and go into blogging. However, after awhile she saw that I was determined in my vision to make a living from working at home. She started to see that I was making real money from it and she was inspired to continue with her own business.
What about you? Do you have a vision for your business? For your life? Can you describe it in detail? Do you trust that this vision will happen for you?
