Is Your Website Ready for the Holiday Season?

I apologize for not posting here this past week. I’ve been gearing up for the holidays and been busy, busy, busy making jewelry - plus trying to find someone to redo my website for the holiday season ;) I also have a couple writing projects that I’m working on, including an e-book about online business! If you sell products, is your website ready for the holiday season? Even if you don’t sell products, you can also suggest to your subscriber list to purchase e-books or informational products for their loved ones! Do you have someone on your Christmas gift list who likes the internet or is an online entrepreneur? I love to read and wouldn’t mind receiving an e-book or even gift certificate for free advertising on a website (hint, hint *wink*) Even if you’re website isn’t geared towards gift-giving, it’s still good to do some minor changing and tweaking...Change is good for the soul ;)

Email Marketing Advice From Michael Rasmussen

I'm on Michael Rasmussen's email list and today he tells us about a technique he calls "The Greed Bonus": "The way the greed bonus works is simple. The next time you send out an email promotion about one of your products, offer to throw in an extra bonus if they buy within 48 hours. It has to be a bonus they can't get anywhere else, and it has to have a high perceived value. That's it. That's the technique. The reason it works is because people are powerfully motivated by greed, and the opportunity to get an extra "goodie" is often enough to make them want to buy. Does that sound too simple to actually work? Well try it out on your next mailing, and you'll should see a big jump in your sales."

On Blogging and Blogging Tips...

I apologize, dear readers, for the lack of posts here. My intention at the beginning of this project was to post at least 3-4 times a week, but it looks like I’ve only been posting maybe two times a week. I’ve been brainstorming more ways to create money with my online ventures. I’m still debating whether or not to start another blog, but with the nine blogs I already have and not having enough time to nurture them like I want to, I’m a little hesitant about starting another! Some people may say think that I should probably stop where I am, but I’m such a busy-body, it’s very hard to stop... Now I’m a self-proclaimed blogaholic ;) And speaking of blogging...if you’re a blogger like me, you may want to check out BolderBlogs where there is an interview with Easton Ellsworth of BusinessBlogWire.com who is also a colleague at KnowMoreMedia.com. I’ve learned so much about blogging much from Easton and in the interview he shares with us how build your blog audience. And if you don’t know Darren Rowse of Problogger, I highly recommend checking out his awesome blog that contains a plethora of helpful blogging tips and resources....
