Darren over at ProBlogger talks about how Seth Godin makes money without spending any money in advertising. I, too, don’t spend any money on advertising. I simply blog about what I’m passionate about, create and build online relationships with other bloggers, participate in online discussions, and watch my traffic roll in. Factor in SEO knowledge and you’ve got a recipe for success!

Of course, it’s taken some time to get to this level that I’m at right now. What I don’t spend in money, I spend in time - which I don’t mind doing. What else is there to do?

Anyhow, Darren attributes Seth’s success to his strategy of giving away useful information. People subscribe to Seth’s blog because he provides valuable content. Readers get to know him better and therefore have no problem supporting him by buying his books (which are great reads, by the way!)
